VEED pricing in 2026 starts at $25 a month per editor for Creator, $45 for Pro, and $79 for Studio, or $147, $265, and $465 a year per editor on yearly billing (about $12, $22, and $39 a month). There is a free plan with 50 AI credits a month, 720p exports, and a watermark, and Enterprise is quoted by sales. Every paid price is per editor, so a team of three on Pro yearly pays $795 a year, not $265.

VEED is a browser video editor with an AI layer: auto subtitles, text to speech, dubbing, avatars, and generative video models that run on AI credits. The figures below come from the pricing data the live VEED pricing page loads for a US visitor (in USD), the FAQ on that page, and the VEED Terms of Sale, all read in October 2026. If you see euros on the VEED site, that is because the page sets the currency by your location.

The yearly discount is what VEED advertises as "save up to 51%". It is real on Creator ($147 instead of $300 a year) and a little smaller on Pro and Studio. Paid plans come with a 7 day trial that needs a card.

VEED charges per editor, and that changes the math

The VEED pricing FAQ is direct about this: the plan price is multiplied by the number of editors in the workspace, and you are charged when you invite someone. Creator and Pro allow up to 3 editors, Studio up to 5. That is the single biggest thing third-party summaries leave out, and it is usually why a team quote ends up two or three times the number on the pricing card.

TeamVEED Creator yearlyVEED Pro yearlyVEED Studio yearly
1 editor$147$265$465
2 editors$294$530$930
3 editors$441$795$1,395
5 editorsNot availableNot available$2,325

On monthly billing the gap widens: three Pro editors pay $135 a month, or $1,620 over a year.

How VEED AI credits work

VEED splits its AI features into two buckets. Some come as monthly minute or hour allowances (subtitles, text to speech voice, dubbing), and the generative features spend AI credits. VEED says 6,000 credits are about 1,500 AI videos, which matches its rate table: a standard AI video generation costs about 4 credits. That figure describes short generated clips from its default model, not finished edited videos.

The premium models cost far more. From the VEED rate table in October 2026:

AI actionCredits
Standard AI video generationAbout 4 per generation
VEED Motion10 per generation
Lip-sync avatar (VEED Fabric 1.0)4 per second
Kling 320 per second
Seedance 2.5About 59 per second
Google Veo 3.1 (8 second clip)310, or 150 on Veo 3.1 Fast
AI image (Flux to GPT Image 2)1 to 30

So 500 Creator credits buy about 125 standard generations, but only one Veo 3.1 clip of 8 seconds with a little left over. A 30 second lip-sync avatar uses 120 credits. If your plan is to make generated footage on the top models, read the credit column before you read the price column.

When you run out, there are no one-off top-up packs on the web plan. You move up a credit tier on the same plan, which works like a subscription upgrade. Pro, for example, goes from 2,500 credits at $45 a month to 3,750 at $55, 5,000 at $65, 8,750 at $95, and 15,000 at $145, per editor. Creator tiers run up to 10,500 credits at $125 a month and Studio up to 28,000 at $179.

Rollover, refunds, and cancellation

Credits do not roll over. They refresh at renewal, and the Terms of Sale say unused credits expire at the end of the period with no cash value. On yearly billing you get the full year of credits up front, which helps if your usage is lumpy.

Refunds are narrow. The Terms of Sale give a 14 day refund only if the service has not been used. Once you have exported or spent credits, there is no refund for the period.

Cancel anytime, but early. You turn off auto-renewal from billing settings, and VEED asks for that at least 2 business days before renewal. Access continues until the end of the paid period.

Which VEED plan should you buy?

Creator is the right plan for one person who edits their own recordings and needs 1080p without a watermark. At $147 a year it is one of the cheaper paid editors, and unlimited subtitles alone justify it for most podcasters and course creators.

Pro is the plan for marketing teams that need 4K, brand kits, and templates, and it is where most business buyers end up. Budget it per editor from day one.

Studio makes sense when you will actually use the bigger credit pool and the premium models, or when you need branded video hosting and a reviewer seat. If you mostly trim and caption, it is more than you need.

VEED vs a flat text-to-video plan

VEED is an editor first. The work ends in a timeline where someone trims, swaps clips, fixes captions, and resizes for each platform, and the AI credits mostly pay for generated clips that still need assembling. That is the right tool when the source is footage you filmed.

When the source is text, a script, a blog post, or a product page, the editor is the slow part. VidUp takes that text or URL and returns a finished video in one pass: AI voiceover, captions timed to the voice, licensed stock footage matched to each line, and music, in 9:16, 1:1, and 16:9 from one render. Plans count finished videos, not credits or editors.

PlanBilled yearlySeats includedWhat a year buys
VEED Pro, 3 editors$7953 (paid individually)An editor with 2,500 AI credits a month per editor; you build each video
VEED Studio, 3 editors$1,3953 (paid individually)Bigger credit pools and all AI models; you still build each video
VidUp Starter$288130 finished videos a month from text or a URL
VidUp Growth$588275 finished videos a month, premium voices
VidUp Pro$1,1883200 finished videos a month, 4K, multiple brand kits, API

Be honest about the trade. Per seat, VEED is cheaper: three Pro editors cost less than VidUp Pro. VidUp has no editor, no avatars, no dubbing, and does not accept uploads, so it cannot replace VEED for footage you shot. Where it wins is time: a weekly batch of narrated shorts from blog posts or product pages takes minutes, not an editing session per video. The VEED alternative page lays out when to switch and when to stay, and VidUp vs VEED compares the two feature by feature.

Many teams keep both. VEED stays for the recordings that need a real edit, and the text-first pieces (product explainers, blog videos, offer ads) go through a flat plan. If those videos also run on the screens in your store or office lobby, digital signage software that runs every screen you already own can play the same exports without another round of editing.

For the wider market, how much AI video generators cost prices 17 tools per finished video, the per-seat editors next to VEED are broken down in Kapwing pricing and Descript pricing, and VidUp plans are on the pricing page.

Frequently asked questions about VEED pricing

How much does VEED cost per month?

VEED costs $25 a month per editor for Creator, $45 for Pro, and $79 for Studio on monthly billing. Billed yearly, the same plans cost $147, $265, and $465 a year per editor, which is about $12, $22, and $39 a month. Enterprise is custom.

Is VEED free?

VEED has a free plan with 50 AI credits a month, 720p exports with a VEED watermark, a 10 minute export limit, 2 GB of storage, and 10 minutes of auto subtitles a month. It is enough to test the editor, not to publish client or brand work, because of the watermark and resolution.

Does VEED charge per user?

Yes. VEED bills per editor: the plan price is multiplied by the number of editors in the workspace, and you are charged when you invite a user. Creator and Pro allow up to 3 editors and Studio up to 5, so a team of three on Pro yearly pays $795 a year.

Do VEED credits roll over?

No. VEED AI credits refresh at each renewal, and unused credits expire at the end of the billing period with no cash value. Yearly plans receive the whole year of credits up front, for example 30,000 on Pro, so you can spend them unevenly across the year.

Can I get a refund from VEED?

Only in a narrow case. The VEED Terms of Sale allow a refund within 14 days if the service has not been used. After you have used the plan, there is no refund for the period, but you can turn off auto-renewal at least 2 business days before the renewal date and keep access until it ends.

Is VEED worth it for a marketing team?

VEED Pro is worth it if your team edits filmed footage every week and needs 4K, brand kits, and unlimited subtitles. If most of your videos start as text, such as blog posts, product pages, or scripts, a flat text-to-video plan usually costs less time per video, because nobody has to build each one in a timeline.
