Vizard has three self-serve plans in 2026: Free at 0 dollars with 60 credits a month, Creator at 29 dollars a month or 14.50 a month billed yearly (174 dollars a year), and Business at 39 dollars a month or 19.50 billed yearly (234 dollars a year). One credit pays for one minute of video you upload, and both paid plans start at 600 credits a month. Larger credit tiers cost more, and Business charges 5 dollars a month for every extra team member.

Vizard is a clip repurposer. You upload a podcast, webinar, livestream, or long YouTube video, and it finds the best moments, reframes them for vertical feeds, and adds captions. So what you are really buying is minutes of source video. The directories that rank for this query disagree on the numbers (one lists both paid plans at 0 dollars), so the figures below were read from the rendered vizard.ai pricing page in October 2026.

The yearly toggle is labeled 50 percent off, and it is exactly that: 14.50 against 29, and 19.50 against 39. Both paid plans have a credit slider that runs from 7,200 to 74,400 credits a year, which is 600 to 6,200 source minutes a month. The prices in the table are the entry step of that slider, and every step up costs more.

How much does Vizard cost per year?

Vizard costs 174 dollars a year for Creator and 234 dollars a year for Business at the entry credit tier, billed up front. Paid monthly, the same plans add up to 348 and 468 dollars a year, so yearly billing saves 174 or 234 dollars. A Business workspace with three people adds two seats at 5 dollars a month, or 120 dollars a year on top.

Plans renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle. Vizard's FAQ says you can cancel any time from the Workspace Subscription screen, and the plan then runs until the end of the period you already paid for.

How Vizard credits work

The rule is simple and printed on every plan card: every minute of video you upload costs 1 credit. A 45-minute podcast episode costs 45 credits whether Vizard cuts 3 clips from it or 20. That makes Vizard cheap per clip for long, talk-heavy recordings, and it means the meter runs on what you feed in, not on what you publish.

  • Weekly 1-hour podcast: about 260 source minutes a month. Creator at the entry tier covers it with room for a webinar or two.
  • Two 90-minute webinars and a weekly show: about 440 minutes. Still inside 600.
  • Daily 1-hour livestream: about 1,800 minutes a month. That is three times the entry tier, so you move up the slider and pay for the larger step.

Two limits matter as much as credits. Free uploads stop at 60 minutes and exports at 10 minutes, so a full-length episode will not fit. And Free exports are 720p with a watermark, so it works for testing the clip picker, not for publishing.

Vizard API pricing

Vizard does not sell the API separately. Every plan includes API access, billed from the same credit balance at 1 credit per uploaded minute, and the plans differ only in rate limits:

PlanAPI rate limit
Free1 request a minute, 10 an hour
Creator3 requests a minute, 20 an hour
Business10 requests a minute, 60 an hour

So the Vizard API price is the plan price. An agency that pushes every client recording through an automation (Vizard publishes a ready-made n8n workflow) should size the credit tier to its total source minutes and pick Business for the higher rate limit and shared workspace.

What one clip costs on Vizard

On Creator billed yearly, a credit costs about 2.4 cents at the entry tier (174 dollars for 7,200 minutes). If a 60-minute episode yields 10 usable clips, each clip costs about 14 cents in credits. Month to month the same math is about 4.8 cents a minute and 29 cents a clip. That is very hard to beat if you already record hours of video every week.

The number falls apart in the other direction. If you only have one 20-minute recording a month, you are paying 29 dollars for a handful of clips, and if you have no recordings at all, there is nothing for Vizard to clip.

Is Vizard free?

Vizard has a free plan with 60 credits a month, which is 60 minutes of uploaded video. Exports are 720p and carry the Vizard watermark, uploads are capped at 60 minutes, exports at 10 minutes, and files are stored for 3 days. Removing the watermark and exporting in 4K starts at Creator.

When there is nothing to clip

Vizard is the right purchase when the raw material already exists. A lot of the people pricing it do not have that. They have a blog, a product page, a newsletter, or a script, and they want short videos for Reels, TikTok, Shorts, and LinkedIn without recording anything first. Buying a clipper for that job means buying a camera, a mic, and an editing afternoon before the 14.50 dollar plan does anything.

That job is what VidUp does. Paste a script, a blog post, or a product URL and it returns a finished video with an AI voiceover, burned-in captions, matched licensed stock footage, and music, in 9:16, 1:1, and 16:9 from one render. Starter is 49 dollars a month (24 billed yearly) for 30 finished videos, Growth is 99 (49 yearly) for 75 with 2 seats, and Pro is 199 (99 yearly) with 4K, up to 5 brand kits, and an API with webhooks. There are no credits and no source minutes to count. If your team writes before it records, an AI blog writer that drafts the SEO article first gives you the text, and the blog to video workflow turns each post into a short.

The honest split: if you record long video every week, Vizard costs less and does a job VidUp does not do, since VidUp does not import or clip footage. If you start from text, VidUp skips the recording step entirely. The Vizard alternative page compares the two in detail, VidUp vs Vizard goes feature by feature, and the other clippers are priced out in Opus Clip pricing and Submagic pricing. Current VidUp plans are on the pricing page.

Frequently asked questions about Vizard pricing

How much does Vizard cost per month?

Vizard Creator costs 29 dollars a month on monthly billing or 14.50 dollars a month billed yearly, and Business costs 39 dollars a month or 19.50 billed yearly. Both include 600 credits a month at the entry tier, which is 600 minutes of uploaded video. The free plan is 0 dollars with 60 credits.

Is Vizard AI free?

Vizard AI has a free plan with 60 credits a month, enough to clip about one hour of uploaded video. Free exports are 720p with a watermark, uploads stop at 60 minutes, and storage lasts 3 days. Paid plans start at 14.50 dollars a month billed yearly and remove the watermark.

How much is the Vizard API?

The Vizard API has no separate price. It is included on every plan and uses the same credits, 1 credit per minute of uploaded video. The plan decides the rate limit: 1 request a minute on Free, 3 on Creator, and 10 on Business, which suits agencies running automated clipping.

What is a credit in Vizard?

One Vizard credit equals one minute of video you upload. A 30-minute webinar costs 30 credits no matter how many clips Vizard cuts from it. Paid plans start at 600 credits a month, and a slider on the pricing page buys larger tiers up to 74,400 credits a year.

Can I cancel Vizard anytime?

Yes. Vizard lets you cancel from the Workspace Subscription screen in your account at any time. Plans renew automatically, and after you cancel, the plan stays active until the end of the billing cycle you already paid for, then it does not renew.

Is Vizard cheaper than Opus Clip?

For heavy users, usually yes. Vizard Creator gives 600 upload minutes a month for 14.50 dollars billed yearly, and Opus Clip meters processing minutes on its own plans. Compare both on your real monthly source minutes, since the cheaper tool depends on how many hours of video you upload.
